My stay at Halepuna Waikiki was seriously great, with an immaculately clean environment and friendly staff that made me feel welcomed. I enjoyed the modern room amenities, especially the automatic shades and Japanese-style toilet, which were unique features I hadn't experienced before. However, I was a bit disappointed with the room view; it was more of a parking garage than the expected beach scene. Still, the hotel's location was super convenient for exploring Waikiki.

The Standard Waikiki room was new and modern, but I ended up facing a parking garage, which wasn't what I expected. The amenities were fantastic; I loved the electric blinds and refillable water bottles, but the actual view was less than ideal.
